Are you having a difficult time pricing your ebooks? Don’t feelbad, your not alone.Correctly pricing an ebook is like looking for a needle in a haystack. There are manyfactors that come into consideration when pricing your ebooks. Two such factors aresupply and demand. Many internet marketers will be upset with mewhen I say this but Idon’t care, unless you have one whopper of an ebook on internetmarketing with a trulykiller of a USP (Unique Selling Point) your dead in the water. Ouch...I know the truthhurts but this is reality in my opinion. With the LARGE amountof IM (internetmarketing) ebooks on the net today and the dwindling lack ofinterest because of somereally poorly written ebooks I’d bet their sales have suffered. There are some goodebooks on IM out there, just hard to find. When a guy isoffering a $27.00 ebook with$1500.00 worth of bonuses (ok, maybe I’m exaggerating a little)something’s up,wouldn’t you think? However, if your writing an ebook on a verytight, specific nichemarket this is where things turn in your favour. LittleSupply+Lots of Demand=HeftySales at a premium price. You know your onto a good idea whensearches on google andamazon show up with zero results for your topic. This is whenyou should get excitedand start creating. Look at the prices of “print books” andbase your pricing on that ifyour really stuck for a figure. Of course this is just a generalguideline, some say pricingamounts to psychology and using the right words too hook you. This is true to a certainpoint. I mean look at all the brochures and fliers you readevery week, everyone tests, tests, and tests more. Testing comes with a price, it takesmanpower to test the pricefeasibility of any product. Another strategy to consider whenpricing your ebooks is theestimated income of your target market. How much are theymaking? Is your targetmarket lawyers, teachers, or people in lower income brackets? The only way to know thisis by....RESEARCHING. Some people claim that prices that endwith a certain numbersell better than others that end with different numbers. Realityis...who really knows forsure? No one does, once you’ve reached a price that seems to bein your target marketscomfort level and you seem to be getting STEADY sales...stickwith it. As you may haverealised in my writing I have a slightly different view of the“way things are” compared toother people. Do I have a degree in economics? Heck know! Do Ihave a degree inpsychology? Only if you consider ex-cabdrivers experts in humanpsyche...maybe I’m onto something. The bottom line is this folks, come up with aniche market that has little orno competition on the web. Start to price your ebooks on thebasis of “print books” (thatsif there are any) and go from there. Follow your gut instinct, acquaint yourself with yourtarget market WAY before hand and see how valuable yourinformation may be to them. What is THEIR perception about what carries value and whatdoesn’t? That’s a difficultquestion to answer and one you must do your best to find asolution too in order to climbto the top! I bet it’ll be quite the eye opener for you. If allelse fails market your infoproduct offline first to see what kind of prices people arewilling to pay than apply yourfinding online with a 20% discount and see how it goes. Why the20% discount onlineyou ask? Everyone expects to SAVE money when buying online. Source: Free Articles from ArticlesFactory.com
